All conversations is the management page for chats you have already created. Search, filter, rename, label, star, archive, share, export, and delete them, and organize them by project.

Where to find it#

Click Recent in the main navigation: the first item below New chat and Search, above Files. The page header reads All conversations.

Conversations also appear in the sidebar:

Open a conversation#

Click any row in the list or the sidebar to continue it. If you archive or delete the conversation you are currently viewing, the page returns to a blank chat.

Search and filter#

1. Type in the search box below the page title. Results refresh after a short pause.
2. Use the filter groups on the right of the toolbar to narrow the list.

The list is grouped by project. Conversations with no project appear under Default, and each group header shows its count.

This search covers the conversation list. To search inside message text, use the global search with Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on macOS), which covers titles, labels, projects, and message content.

Rename a conversation#

1. Open a row menu in the sidebar or the list, or the conversation title menu on the chat page.
2. Choose Rename.
3. Type a new name, or click the sparkles icon to run Auto rename.

Renaming changes only the title. It does not touch messages, attachments, shares, or project membership. Auto rename regenerates the title from the conversation and reports Auto rename failed if it cannot.

Add labels#

1. Open a row menu and choose Conversation labels.
2. Click +, type a label, and press Enter to add it.
3. Click Save.

A conversation can carry up to six labels of up to 24 characters each. Labels appear next to the title in the list and are included in search. Remove a label with its X before saving.

Star a conversation#

Open a row menu and choose Star. Starred conversations move to the sidebar Starred section and can be isolated with the Starred filter. Choose Unstar to remove one.

A star is a personal shortcut. It does not change permissions or sharing.

Archive a conversation#

Open a row menu and choose Archive. The conversation leaves the active list. Select the Archived status filter to find it, then choose Unarchive to restore it.

Archiving is not deletion. It does not delete files, close shares, or change project membership.

Move a conversation to a project#

1. Open a row menu and choose Move.
2. Pick a project, or Default to remove the conversation from its project.

Moving changes membership only. See Projects for how project instructions and defaults work.

Share a conversation#

1. Open a row menu and choose Share, or Manage share when a link already exists.
2. In the dialog, click Create to generate a public link.
3. Use Copy link, Open link, Regenerate, or Stop sharing.

The dialog header shows how many messages the snapshot contains. A share is a snapshot of the visible conversation taken when the link is created. Stop sharing makes existing links fail; Regenerate replaces the old link. A conversation with no messages cannot be shared and shows There are no messages to share.

Check the conversation for customer data, secrets, contracts, or personal information before sharing. Anyone with the public link can open it.

Export a conversation#

Open a row menu and choose Export JSON to download the conversation as JSON. The export contains metadata, messages, run records, and the default visible branch. It is a backup and review format, not a guaranteed import format.

On the All conversations toolbar, the download icon runs Export all conversations. DEEIX downloads a .jsonl file and reports the result; a partial run reports how many conversations were exported and how many failed.

Capture a screenshot#

1. Open the conversation title menu on the chat page and expand Share & Export.
2. Choose Capture latest 100 messages or Select messages to capture.

In selection mode, use Select all or Select latest 100 when the conversation is longer, Clear selection, Capture, and Exit selection. You can select up to 100 messages. The preview dialog lets you Copy the image or Download it.

Delete a conversation#

1. Open a row menu and choose Delete.
2. Optionally select Also delete files in the conversation.
3. Confirm with Delete.

Deletion cannot be undone. Even when file cleanup is selected, DEEIX deletes only files that no other conversation references; files still used elsewhere stay available. To preselect file cleanup, enable the default in Chat.

Run bulk actions#

1. Click the selection icon in the toolbar, or hover a row and check its box.
2. Select the conversations you want to change.
3. Use the toolbar actions.

Archive, unarchive, and stop-sharing ask for confirmation before they run.
