Announcements show platform notices such as model changes, maintenance windows, and policy updates. Unread announcements open after sign-in, and you can revisit them any time from the account menu.
Where to find it#
Open the account menu at the bottom of the left sidebar by selecting your avatar, then select Announcements. A red dot next to the item means there are unread announcements.
Unread announcements also open automatically after sign-in. Public share pages do not show announcements.
Read announcements#
- Open the account menu and select Announcements.
- Select an announcement in the left list.
- Read the content on the right.
The left list shows the title and date of each announcement. A red dot marks unread items and a pin icon marks pinned items. Use the Default, Type, and Time tabs to change the order.
The same dialog opens automatically on sign-in when there is something unread. Select any row to read it, then close the dialog.
Dismiss or close announcements#
At the bottom of the automatic dialog there are two actions:

| Don't show today | Hides the current unread announcements until the next day. They reappear the following day if still active. |
| Close | Marks the current unread announcements as read. They stay in the list without the red dot. |
Both actions apply to the unread announcements in the dialog. Closing the dialog with the X does not change the read state, so the announcements open again on the next visit.
In the dialog opened from the account menu, the list includes dismissed and already-read announcements. The Close button marks any remaining unread items as read and closes the dialog.
Pinned and priority#
Administrators can pin an announcement and set a numeric priority.
- A pinned announcement shows a pin icon and sorts before unpinned announcements.
- A higher priority sorts first within the same pinned state.
- The default order is: unread first, then pinned, then priority, then most recently updated.
Type and Time change the sort but keep unread announcements at the top.
Announcement types#
The type is set by the administrator and controls the color accent in the list.

Updated announcements#
When an administrator edits an announcement, it becomes a new version and appears as unread again. This is expected: the notice content changed, so the platform asks you to read the new version.
Common problems#
